wan·der·lust n. ~ A very strong or irresistible impulse to travel.
My family has told me that when I was born, my mother's motto was "Have baby; will travel." And I believe that may have been where I developed my case of wanderlust. I distinctly remember being no more than five or six years old and wandering away from my mother and having to go to the front to have her paged because I had wanted to see all that Wal-Mart had to offer. Even at that tender age the desire to explore the world around me had been strong. From the neighborhood I could see from the top of a holly tree in the backyard during elementary school, to the city of Orlando that was laid out before me as I attended band functions during middle school, to parts of California, Arizona, Australia, Bahamas, and Washington DC, along with large portions of the state of Florida during high school, to Georgia, the western Caribbean and now the United Kingdom and Europe as a college student, the world has beckoned me to come explore it's secrets. To meet its people. To savor its flavors. To hear its melodies. To discover its fragrances. To see its beauty.
Will this passion for exploring and traveling die out? Who knows. But in the meantime, here are some of my adventures.

I can relate to your Walmart story: I have also been to Walmart, but I didn't use the pager system and well I wasn't five. Actually it was just the other day and all I really needed was some paper. But, yeah, I have been to Walmart too.
