The Second Onsen Dinner

Because the dining room was beautiful, there was a lovely raised fireplace right next to our table.

Yes, really.

 

(This was the little "she's special!" flag that the Onsen was using to indicate where one of my traveling companions was sitting at the table, since the cook was adjusting the contents of some her dishes to accommodate her dietary requirements.)

This was a sukiyaki course.  It was phenomenal.
